Youth Ballet Memphis member to be featured in new book supporting our National Parks

Sydney Hall, Ballet 7 and Youth Ballet Memphis member, has been selected to appear in an upcoming book entitled Dance Across the USA by photographer Jonathan Givens. Hall is featured at Cumberland Falls National Park in Kentucky. Junior Company members become storytellers "Boundless: Wonder"

Ballet Memphis Junior Company regularly performs story ballets, and it has long provided student dancers with the opportunity to explore the creation of dances by presenting student-made works of choreography. Spotlight: Julie Niekrasz

Today is Ballet Memphis dancer Julie Niekrasz's birthday, so what better way to celebrate than do a spotlight on her! Julie's had a full summer so far. She’s been teaching Pilates and creative movement at Shelby Farms Nature Camp , living out one of Ballet Memphis’s visions of helping kids instill healthy habits early on.
