BALLET MEMPHIS to premiere ‘PLACES’ mixed-repertory of three original works

MEMPHIS, TENN. (February 10, 2016) ­– – – Ballet Memphis presents three original works in its winter mixed-repertory show, Places, opening Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Playhouse on the Square. Upping the Odds for Black Ballet Dancers

A common issue company directors cite when it comes to the diversity-in-ballet problem is that very few minority dancers attend their auditions.
